Community Info:
Cunningham-Reis is located 20 miles west of Des Moines in the small town of Van Meter, IA. A tiny community, Van Meter boasts it's claim to fame with native baseball legend, Bob Feller aka "the Heater from Van Meter". In June of 1995, the grand opening of the The Bob Feller Museum took place. The most recent addition to put Van Meter on the map is the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, dedicated on July 3, 2008.
