Hawkeye Paving Corp. is a family owned and operated paving and underground utility general contractor located in Bettendorf, Iowa, for 25 years. We are a full service general contractor working with both private and public entities consisting of but not limited to, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, erosion control, grading, excavation, pavement removal, traffic control, heated concrete flooring and pavement of all sizes, shapes and thicknesses.

Job Description:

|
|
Qualifications/Requirements
Willing to work 40-50 hours Monday through Friday. Must have own tools.
Welding experience
CDL a plus.
Must have a good driving record.
May be assigned to a construction crew or the shop. Possible travel.
Advanced knowledge of heavy equipment and/or truck systems and technical resources
Advanced knowledge of equipment/tool operation and diagnostic/repair procedures
Physical Requirements:
Work shall be performed in a maintenance shop setting, both indoor and outdoor. Will be subject to a moderate amount of noise and vibration from shop equipment and to a variety of weather conditions. Physical exertion may result from prolonged standing, climbing up and down ladders. Work will sometimes be accomplished in cramped and awkward positions while installing items and reaching lifting and bending while using hand tools and power tools. May occasionally be required to lift weights exceeding 75 lbs. and will occasional work in confined spaces in close proximity to grease, oil, fuel, lubricants and solvents.
