In respecting the privacy of the AGC of Iowa Career Center users, including job seekers and employer-hiring authorities, we collect information from our visitors. When posting jobs and/or resumes, our users decide for themselves how much contact information they wish to display. We enable confidential communication flow for those who choose to hide this information, by providing our "anonymous" posting features for both parties.

This Privacy Policy governs your interaction with the AGC of Iowa Career Center and your registration for and use of our online services. By using the services on the AGC of Iowa Career Center, you signify your agreement to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the services. Continuing use of the services subsequent to changes to this Policy means you accept the changes.

Employers, Hiring Authorities and Job Seekers
The AGC of Iowa Career Center treats the confidential account information you provide us with regarding your business as confidential. All employer-hiring authorities should be aware, that although we hide your contact information on each of your job postings and Company Profiles, that solicitors may still use the email path on your Company Profile entitled "Job Seeker Request More Information" to attempt to contact you.

The AGC of Iowa Career Center collects personal information from job seeking users on a voluntary basis by those who post resumes and create a MyAGC account. You may search and view job postings confidentially and anonymously, and the AGC of Iowa Career Center does not maintain a record of your personal job search activity. Additionally, we provide several options for you to store and/or distribute resume information on our site.

You may post your resume to our resume database after registering at MyAGC-your personal account manager at the AGC of Iowa Career Center. Your background information is then posted and searchable by our subscribing employers and recruiters. Your resume may be displayed with (open posting) or without (anonymous) disclosing your name, address, email and phone number.

To maintain public confidentiality, be sure to select the "anonymous" posting option and review your online resume to confirm it contains no personally identifiable data. Under the anonymous option, employers will be able to communicate with you through an e-mail function that does not display your e-mail address. You can deactivate your posting anytime.

Applying on-line to jobs at the AGC of Iowa Career Center requires the completion of the application form. Your identity will be disclosed to the employer/recruiter whom submitted the job posting. A reply from the hiring authority, if any, will be e-mailed, faxed, mailed or contacted by phone as directed by the employer/hiring authority.

Deletion of Your Records
At your request, we will deactivate all records pertaining to your use of this site including your registration, login, resume, responses and posted resume. Your deletion will take place within one business day. Please understand that employers or recruiters who have already received your information through a job response or posted resume may have maintained your records off-line and could still attempt to contact you regarding employment options.
